• To retain the scholarship, you must have maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 in each of your previous years at UFV.

There is no application required for the UFV International Excellence Entrance Scholarship. Your application to UFV will be automatically reviewed if you meet the admission requirements. Priority is given to students applying to bachelor’s degree programs.

International Students Endowment Scholarship

• Value: Varies annually based on the endowment amount.
• Eligibility:
  • International students, currently enrolled at UFV.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Application Process:
  • Applications are submitted online via the MyUFV portal.
  • Navigate to Student Information > Financial Aid to access the application form.
• Deadline: May 10 each year.

UFV Scholarships & Leadership Awards

• Eligibility:
  • Open to all students, including international students, unless specified otherwise.
  • Must be currently enrolled and attending classes at UFV.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits during the term of application (students with disabilities may qualify with 6 credits).
• Application Requirements:
  • Two reference letters demonstrating volunteer service and leadership skills.
• Application Process:
  • Applications are submitted through the MyUFV portal.

International Regional Entrance Scholarship

• Scholarship Value:
  • CAD $5,000 per recipient
• Number of Awards:
  • 15 awards for the Summer semester
  • 15 awards for the Fall semester
• Total: 30 scholarships annually
• Eligibility Criteria:
  • This scholarship is available to international students who:
  • Apply to study at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV)
  • Are in their final year of secondary school or have recently graduated
• Application Process:
  • No separate application is required. Students are automatically considered for this award upon applying to UFV, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
